Patient Insights Process Software

PIPS - Patient Insights Process Software

Pharmaceutical companies should integrate the patient’s voice into the development of medications and all support materials, however, they have to follow strict procedures when engaging with patients. AND SO DO THEIR VENDORS.
We developed the ‘Patient Insights Process Software‘ or PIPS to ensure patient insights projects are run effectively and in compliance with local laws and regulations. In a highly- regulated industry, complete data visibility for internal stakeholders and external agencies can save countless hours and money in regulatory compliance activity.
The Patient Insights Process Software, a software application to manage patient engagement projects, makes sure patient projects are run compliant, feasible and effectively. By using the new software, the Health communication and PR agencies will know which steps to take in order to make this patient insight project feasible and it adheres to /complies with legal and ethical considerations.

PIPS – FINALLY, SOFTWARE DRIVING GREATER STANDARDISATION AND COMPLIANCE IN GIVING PATIENTS A VOICE IN HEALTHCARE FOR HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS AND PR AGENCIES

PIPS is the new health tech start-up accelerating patient engagement by streamlining compliance in patient market research , via a single secure platform for health communication and PR agencies.

London UK— 18 April, 2023 — Nadine van Dongen, announced the incorporation of ‘Patient Insights Process Software’ (PIPS).

Having worked for 15 years in patient market research with her patient research company Patient Intelligence Panel (PIPHealth), ensuring the patient’s voice is heard within pharmaceutical companies’ decision making, she said: “We need a system strengthening and harmonising regulatory gaps between pharmaceutical companies and their vendors when conducting patient insights research to support patient engagement departments.”

Health communications and PR agencies often use patient insights for the campaigns and patient-facing materials they develop on behalf of pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Pharmaceutical companies tend to have complex internal processes designed to ensure their projects meet all neceassary legal requirements, such as Veeva, Zinc or Promomats, but their vendors do not have access to these software applications. Yet the vendors do certainly have to adhere to the same strict compliance regulations when conducting patient insights projects on behalf of their clients.

Operations within the PIPS application speed up execution of patient market research or patient engagement projects and keep pace with evolving health authority requirements. This simplifies submission planning, development, publishing, and archiving. It is, in essence, an advanced auditing tool, assuring pharmaceutical or biotech customers that the agencies they’ve engaged are following all mandatory steps while working on patient market research or patient engagement projects. With 1 press of a button, the customer can see all the steps taken in a patient insights or co-creation project, alongsidethe dates of all approvals.

PIPS is the first company to lay out a formal process for integrating the patient perspective into the productlife cycle, to create better understanding and awareness of the patient needs and in turn improve the overall patient experience.

“Patient centricity” has been a buzzword for nearly a decade but most decision making is being made with little to no direct input from the patients orcaregivers that are expected to use the new drugs or accompanying apps or brochures. Patient engagement has mostly been limited to sporadic and ad-hoc sessions, with little impact in reducing patient burden or improving adherence and experience. PIPS is different as it focuses solely on the patient voice, as used by vendors of pharmaceutical companies, to develop patient facing materials, messages, applications and/or patient support programs.

PIPS is setting the gold standard for all healthcare communication and health PR agencies to make patient market research or patient engagement projects standardised, compliant and effective. This allows for better internal control, enhanced efficiency, reduced risk and an earlier time to market. The software will give a competitive edge, with agencies now able to tell their pharmaceutical or biotech clients that they are ready to work with them on compliant SYSTEMATIC PATIENT ENGAGEMENT.

PIPS continues to deliver advancements that help customers streamline global regulatory processes. Features include:

  • PO / SOW approval process
  • Adverse event training certificate checks
  • Incentives checks
  • Invitation and screener protocols and checks
